Basic construction of this pattern can be completed in less than 2 hours. Two easy options are ribbon sash and ribbon trim on skirt. Yardage allows for fabric sash to be substituted for ribbon. Additional variations require more time, but detailed instructions expedite completion. These changes from basic construction include smocking, tucked and/or eyelet hem accents, and covered piping or ruffles (eyelet or fabric) in bodice seams. Variations shown on back cover include contrasting lining, snap closing with purchased ribbon rose embellishments, ribbon sash and eyelet ruffle sewn in bodice seams.
