Pleat your own fabric without a pleater! Simply transfer dots onto wrong side of your fabric with a warm iron and pleat with a needle and some thread!
Use dots on any fabric where you can still see the inked dot. Make sure to iron on dots to a test piece of fabric and wash it first to confirm they wash out. I have been told they don't wash out of certain fabrics like cotton lawn and white broadcloth. If they don't wash out you could try soaking in Oxy clean or rubbing alcohol or you could do some back smocking to hide the dots.
